1 March 2010

Welcome to SDRadio for March 2010! This report is in beautiful monophonic, the way radio was!

~~

Wanna go for a ride this Saturday? Join Rock 105.3‘s Clint August March 6. Clint writes, “I will be at the “Coffee Corner” in Santee (9608 Carlton Hills Blvd Santee, CA 92071), from 3:00 to 3:30p.m. If it is not convenient for you to meet at the starting point then just meet us at the end location.

“We will ride to Cheers (2475 Main Street Ramona, CA 92065-2533), and have a late lunch. I am told that they have some fantastic burgers and I’ve been on the hunt for the best in San Diego for over two years now!!! Nothing better than riding and eating.”

Clint is also part of the team that is putting on the May Ride in about two months. For information see TheMayRide.com. A good time will be had by all.

Former San Diego resident and 760 KFMB employee Mike Terry has published some gems from Hudson and Baurer and other nuggets — like Loreen Nancarrow at the AM station. See Mike’s place on Facebook.

Here’s a locally produced podcast that talks about all things radio: GalaxyMoonBeamNightSide.com. The latest edition has Ian Rose joining the crew. Visit and download the ‘casts for some fine entertainment.

So where are Jeff and Jer on the radio? While the motions are happening … fans are expressing their concern that there has not been an update on the JeffandJer.com web site since January 25.

To his credit, Tommy Sablan has provided information, but the word from Jerry has been sporadic. Stay Tuned
