Dr. Laura continues to have fall out. As she proclaims her free speech rights were taken away, remember: follow the bouncing money ball. Two major advertisers had enough and pulled their dollars out.

Cliff Albert, Program Director at KOGO told Al Peterson at NTS MediaOnline Today, “While I am disappointed — and so are our listeners who are emailing me about it — I certainly respect her decision,” said Cliff Albert said.

“Dr. Laura has always been willing to take some heat, because that’s what happens when you are a person who promotes ethics and morality and who cares enough about people to tell them what they need to hear even at the risk of negative reactions. But some critics can be very mean, personal, unfair and hurtful. She was remorseful about the mistake she made and quickly and sincerely apologized. I’m sure she will continue to speak out, but radio is not going to be as good, or as meaningful, without Dr. Laura.”
