It is taking shape in East County! The monument to honor and recognize 1170 AM KCBQ will have a public unveiling on August 28.
The event will take place on Mission Gorge Road at the south end of the KOHL’s parking lot. Please come! Jack Vincent will have the honor of presenting the monument to the pubic at 1170 AM–or 12:10 p.m.
Many radio hosts from the period if 1958 and 1978 will be there. A list of those slated to attend will be posted next week.
