XX 1090‘s Coach John Kentera, and Bob Scanlan were at Ralph’s Grocery near San Diego State last weekend.
They were there doing their World Baseball Network show and gathering food for Feeding America San Diego (FASD). During the broadcast the grocery store chain contributed $100,000 toward the goal.

As expected XEPE will be the home of ESPN Radio stating Wednesday, October 6. The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that the financial show of Ray Lucia will continue during the day time. Main reason: Lucia’s financial program is income to the station and Ray does not have another San Diego station.
ESPN programming will be heard on XX 1090-AM as the sister station will be able to take programming from the network, especially during the overnight hours. The baseball playoff games will be heard on AM 1700 and possibly AM 1090.
XEPE was the logical choice for ESPN Radio to land.

As wrote about yesterday, Bryan Shock and Haley Jones are a “power couple”. Bryan works at Clear Channel Radio‘s 101.5 KGB, and Haley Jones is the program director at locally owned KPRi.
