KSIQ‘s problems are telco related. A high capacity phone line, called a T-1 is out of service. The station has applied for a temporary permit to remain silent as the problem is being worked out.
Normally, a telco should be able to fix the problem much faster than the two weeks plus the station at 96.1 FM has been off air. The line in question feeds the KSIQ-FM1 “booster” station, licensed to Santee. The antenna is on Mount San Miguel, on the same farm as KNSD, KSWB, and KPBS-FM

Here’s world famous Tori Peck of the Cliff and Brooks morning show. She’s giving the Prognostic Pooch a big ole hug after he visited the show.
Up for adoption, call the Animal Center for more info. Of course, it is the pooch up for adoption! Tori is the producer of the Cliff and Brooks show and you’ll have to go through them to even talk to her!
