With Dr. Laura Schlessinger leaving radio in thirty days, what will KOGO do in the afternoon drive? They could dip into the vast Premiere Radio vault and bring another out of town host, or they could do something local and live.
Like Lady LaDona Harvey. The morning newscaster for Chip Franklin had a two weekend fill in at KFI-AM in LA. She is also heard frequently during evening broadcasts at 6 p.m. for the Big Story.
And she’s a rare find in the market dominated by men on the talk radio circuit. Outside of KPBS-FM, the ladies have been shut up. From noon to three, LaDona would be a good reason to tune in.
