Welcome to SDRadio for Monday, January 3, 2011!

Women to Rock The Talk: Today, Shelly Dunn rejoins the cast of DSC, this time on Jack 100.7 FM. Over at KOGO AM 600, LaDona Harvey takes on the afternoon starting at noon for a three hour adventure in local talk radio.
Shelly returns to the morning drive after a very lengthy radio absence. As part of the DSC on Jack, this will be the first time heard with her pals Dave Richards Rickards, and Cookie Chainsaw Randolph.
She rejoined the cast at 6 a.m.
At noon today, something happens in local radio that has been missing for years: A new local talk show starts and features the talents of LaDona Harvey at KOGO.
The last host in this slot abandoned and fled radio.
LaDona won’t do that: flee and abandon local thought. She’s been proven filling if for Chip Franklin and also honing her skills during KOGO’s night time talk show — and LaDona’s reach expands to three continents. She is heard several times a week in England, and also in Australia.
In both cases expect fireworks, local and necessary attitude, and a big relief to local ears.
Welcome back to the airwaves ladies!

Also noted that at 760 KFMB Mike Slater has joined the airwaves as a locally produced and aired show on the station. Mike replaces the Rick Roberts Show. Rick has moved to the afternoon drive.
Mike joins the airwaves after a successful stint in Tennessee.
Mike’s producer is Anna Good (pictures). She came to 760 KFMB from the nationally syndicated Roger Hedgecock program.
