My first taste of the AAA format was on KKOS-FM at 95.9. The station was legendary for its backdoor concerts that featured Richie Havens, Cheryl Crow, Hootie and The Blowfish, and others. In fact, Richie Havens took the Amtrak to Oceanside to do his interview. The KKOS/KCEO studios were in Carlsbad near the lagoon. Hosts include: Clark Novak, Jeff Gelder, John Van Zante, Meg Banta, and others.
Good Times … Good Times.
