KSDS-FM at 88.3 is in their pledge drive. The Future Of Jazz radio hinges on listener supported donations for the operation of the station.
From the station: “The mission of KSDS-FM is to present, preserve and promote Jazz. We are passionate that one of the most important ways to do all three of those is by reaching out to young people. By educating our babies, toddlers, kids, tweens, and young adults, we’re creating the next generation of musicians, composers, singers, artists, and patrons. If we don’t share and teach this music, and nurture its future fans, we risk the strength and livelihood of this amazing American art form.
“The educational outreach programs at Jazz88.3 are a critical part of our mission, and an element of this radio station that we believe is worth supporting. Check out the photos and videos below, and get inspired by the young people who are carrying on the tradition of Jazz.”
Visit Jazz88.org for more information.
