May Ride 2011 happens on Saturday, May 21 — just three weeks away. Clint August and the May Ride committee are busy preparing for the event. This years festivities will be held at 1040 Los Vallecitos Blvd in San Marcos.
One good thing is you do not have to ride in the event — and there is an option to drive your vehicle as well. Over 50 vendors, many bands, trick ride events will happen all day. The event will also feature fine bar-b-que. Visit the May Ride‘s web site for all the details.
The proceeds will be given to Operation Homefront, a charity that helps out our heroes and families. Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. A national nonprofit, Operation Homefront leads more than 4,500 volunteers across 25 chapters and has met more than 400,000 needs since 2002. A four-star rated charity by watchdog Charity Navigator, and with an A rating by the American Philanthropy Institute, 94 percent of all donations to Operation Homefront goes to its programs.

Tori Peck has been heard on the Clear Channel stations in San Diego recently. After the KSON Morning Show with Cliff Dumas ended, so did Tori’s position with the station as producer.
She’s hand wrangled some pickup work doing a yeoman’s job in traffic direction across the CC-dial in the market.
