Published sources and others in the know say John Weisbarth, Jenny Cavnar (pictured), and other hosts will no longer be at Channel 4 SD after baseball season. A nightly sportscast will last until the end of the year at Channel 4. The station will produce new shows of Sam The Cooking Guy and other shows.
Sports programming, specifically Padres, ends on the last day of September.
Plus production personal associated with the station will loose their job.
The Union-Tribune reported that contracts would not be renewed.
Fox Sports is believed to have the TV rights next year.
