Zinger: Frank Anthony of Walrus FM writes about Former Charger LaDainian Tomlinson’s 9,500 square foot home in Poway for sale: “Personally I would never use the Jacuzzi because I can’t stand the Jets.” Frank writes daily at Walrus FM. He added in his column: “99% of women surveyed say a man who makes them laugh and displays good manners is a huge turn on. It’s true. Last night I opened the car door for my wife and made her laugh when I closed it on my hand.”

With everything done but the official announcement, Padres television broadcast are expected to be on FOX Sports next year. It is believed that San Diego will get a tailored made station that features other professional sports teams from Southern California — except the Dodgers and Angels. MLB has a tight reign on the market broadcasts of baseball, and San Diego county is Padre territory. Dick Enberg will be back for at least one more season. Mark Neely, and Mark Grant do not have a contract with the Padres for next season.

Radio rights for the English broadcasts are also up. XX 1090 is the current rights holder. No other sports station in the market has the coverage like 1090, but there is always FM. Conventional wisdom: 1090 for the Padres next year. Ted Leitner is on the last month of his baseball contract.
