    Mikey is horrible... Man Cow lite basically *rolls eyes*

    I am really disappointed that 94.9 is bringing him on board, they were the only station around that actually played music in the morning rather than 5 hours of verbal diarrhea - like what Mikey supplies.

    Totally disregarding why everything went down. I just feel it was a terrible career move for the remaining crew of "The Show." They may have contracts that seem secure for their families at this very moment. But the show will definately not stay on air that long. They were at a high in their field and after this they will never see this kind of money again. You can disagree all you want but the future outcome will be unfortunate for each of them. I just hope friendships will be mended when all is said and done. Also pertaining to Paul's statement above. Remember when Jackie the jokeman Martlin left the Howard Stern show because he thought he was more than he was. Seems like the same situation here. I wish all the families involved well.

    Who cares? Good riddance. As with the DSC, all the Mikey Show is is a cheap ripoff of the Howard Stern Show anyways. I mean, what normal people laugh incessantly at every stupid statement made by the host. I never heard anything the least bit funny on the Mikey Show, and the only funny thing on the DSC Show was Chainsaw's sports reports.

    After reading what Mikey wrote on his blog, and after listening to what Eddie, Skye, Rob and Ashlee all had to say on the air this morning. I have to say that I will continue to listen to the rest of the crew (-Mikey) on KIOZ. I LOVE the Mikeyshow and this totally sucks to be torn like this. I just think that he was in the wrong for not speaking to his "best friends" about this from day 1. I'll probably switch between the shows during commercial breaks and what not, but I feel I should be a little more loyal KIOZ. The Mikeyshow is NOT only Mike...it's all of them, and Mikey alone just isn't that entertaining to me. It's ALL of them that make it happen for me. This just sucks!

    I am glad Mikey stuck to his guns. When Clear Channel (may they DIAF) removed Sean on 20 January from the morning show, Mikey did say "Our contract is up on January 1st, 2010, and we'll be looking for a place to go" Funny thing was, he joked about going to 94.9. It's sad that the rest of them are not joining him, but he'll do fine. It will be weird hearing talk on a station that touts the fact that they don't "talk" in the morning, though...

    Well, once again GREED shows its ugly face!
    It's a shame that mikey and his extreme spending habits got the better of him. It shows that mikey jumped before he looked and doesnt quite grasp the fact that mikey is only mikey and the mikey show is more then just him. I applaud the other 3/4 of the show to sticking with the station that made them who they are in San Diego.
    It will not matter who will replace him at Rock 105.3 or who will replace the rest of the show at 94.9
    Neither show will be the same and as that is said, 'It's not always greener on the other side of the fence'

    I fully support Mikey! The funny thing is if anyone else on the "MIKEY" show got offered more money from another source you can't tell me they wouldn't think twice....especially now during hard times. Mikey is a great man, and you all are being ugly. I will definitely will miss the Mikey show, but I wish him the best of luck:)

    How amazingly unprofessional of clear channel to post the above message disparaging Mikey for moving to another station. I guess it is ok if they look after their bottom line via layoffs, but when an individual does so they are being selfish.

  • We here at findiit.org continue to support Mikey, a pillar in our community and a father of an autistic son. He has many things in his life that he faught and overcome, and this is just one more. I will be following him!
