FM 94/9’s Mikey Show is being pushed back a few days. The morning show is tooling up with a new show and as Mikey says at his blog, “he delay has made it so that there is no way we can start on Monday. We had to look at it today and there’s just no way we can get it all together by then. I am just being as straight about it as I can, even though I don’t like it. We are optimistic we can work through it and it is complicated, but hey look on the bright side……. there’s gonna be some colorful people on the new Mikey Show. Like I said from the very beginning, I wanted to find a diverse group of people who are talented, funny and interesting. Well. They are!”
Also, Tommy and Hansen will remain at the station when Mikey starts the morning drive.

She’s famous, she’s sassy, and yes, she’s a bright spot on morning drive. Jennifer White’s mouth has made her a star on “Morning Mouth” magazine. Check it out at The Morning Mouth web site.

KCBQ’s morning host, Mark Larson may be heard at another station — in addition to his 1170 AM duties.
Reports from 1210 KPRZ, is that Mark may do a show on the station as well. Mark used to split time between KPRZ and KCBQ previously, so will the “rolling of the office chair” happen again?
Mark will guest on KUSI-TV’s “San Diego People” this weekend. He’ll be talking about Scott Brown’s big win and impact on California. He’s signed on as a contributing writer to www.politicalvanguard.com.

Was that world-famous Phil Farrar on San Diego 6 giving sports last weekend? Here’s hoping Phil is invited back to give sports again at XETV-TV.

This week’s rain has stopped the progress of FM 96.1 from being on air. Still be be built is the booster FM station, licensed to Santee. The secondary station, also at 96.1, will fill in the Southbay in San Diego, according to FCC information. The format and possible new call letters, are not known.
Also not on air is KOPA-LP at 91.3 FM. The station will broadcast in North County from Pala.

Special thanks (again) to KOGO’s Phil Farrar, Cal Walker and Cliff Albert for reporting on this week’s sprinkles. As the rain bids good-bye — resume normal programming.
